Do you, or does someone you know, have the digital skills to help us transform our financial systems and play a leading role in ensuring sound management of our resources?

Closing date: Thursday 31/03/2022 23:59.

We’re looking for someone to take on an exciting new role leading the digital transformation of our finances in Merseyside Scouts.

Whilst the last 2 years have provided significant challenges and pressures on our vital resources, we now have a great opportunity to take Merseyside Scouts forward, ensuring we continue to have good financial governance supported and develop new digitalised processes and systems.

The purpose of the role is to support the activities of our County Treasurer in ensuring our finances are sound.  We particularly need help to modernise and optimise our systems and processes through completely digitalising the way we look after our valuable funds, to ensure scouting is delivered to all our members across Merseyside

The post holder will be part of our team and play a key role in our quarterly finance meetings in support of the strategic aims of the county and our board of trustees.

What we are looking for?

We need someone with excellent digital skills who can lead the kind of projects to help us streamline, innovate and deliver value to our members, volunteers and our executive team. A good head for financial matters is desirable and being able to bring simplicity to complex issues. Playing an active role in committees, this would suit someone who likes change and is good at putting forward new ideas and new ways of working.
