Fancy supporting our next international experience? We’re currently looking to recruit a number of Leaders to join the team to help facilitate an Explorer Belt Expedition to a venue yet to be decided somewhere in Eastern Europe during the Summer of 2026! The trip will be open to teams of Explorer Scouts aged 16 or over and Scout Network members.

What are we looking for?
Our Leadership team will be expected to:
- Shape and develop the diverse expedition members into cohesive teams, this will include some training.
- Jointly managing the administration and finance of the expedition.
- Encourage the expedition members to work together to fund raise towards their fee.
- To ensure the efficient handling of all the personal data for the expedition.
- To share the magic of the expedition with the County as well as with local radio, newspapers and television. To work with the County Media Development Manager to deliver stories and photos from the expedition, as well as managing the expedition’s online presence (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, and Website).
- To help facilitate the various teams’ decision making so that the expedition is owned by them and complies with the assessment criteria.
- To assist with training days/camps as well other activities like badge design and unit clothing.
- To assist with the production of “merchandise” for the expedition team (if desired); i.e. t-shirts, badges, etc;
