This week, Merseyside Scouts came together to honour the incredible dedication of our adult volunteers at our Annual Celebration of Success Event. Held in a spirit of gratitude and pride, the event recognised around 20 volunteers who received Good Service Awards, presented on behalf of our Chief Scout Dwayne Fields. These awards highlight the outstanding commitment and impact of individuals who go above and beyond to support Scouting across the region.
With over 7,000 young people benefiting from Scouting in Merseyside, these volunteers play a vital role in shaping brighter futures. From weekly meetings to adventurous camps, their efforts help young people develop skills for life, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. The evening was filled with heartfelt moments, inspiring stories, and a shared sense of community — a true celebration of the people who make Scouting possible on Merseyside.
