We’ve been successful in a funding bid with the Zero Waste Community Fund with the Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority and are delighted to be looking for Zero Waste Champions across our Adult Volunteers in Merseyside!
What you’ll get:
- 2 x Practical Cooking Classes (24 and 25 September) with our professional partners Cook Clean and Green
- A Level 2 Food Safety e-learning course to compelte in your own time (unless you already have this)
- An Equipment Box with all the necessary kitchen essentials
- Recipe Books and Cards to follow back at your Group
- A Supermarket Voucher to fill the fridge with healthy ingredients

- Location: Crosby District HQ, 1a Myers Road East, Crosby, Liverpool, L23 0QS

- Times: 6pm – 9pm
- Dates: Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September 2026 (you will need to attend both sessions)
- Transport: The equipment box, recipe cards etc. you will receive when attending these sessions will be heavy, therefore we do not advise that public transport is used
- Expenses: Any reasonable expenses not covered by your Group or District will be covered by County in line with our Expenses Policy.

When will I find out if I am successful: Please hold the dates in your diary if you sign up, however you will find out if you have secured a space by Friday 18 September to give you a full week to plan
