Each year, we run a series of primarily evening workshops to help our adult members develop their knowledge and understanding of specific areas of inclusivity.

Raising Awareness of Inclusivity

This course is available for any adult volunteer to register to attend and seeks to raise awareness of the breadth of the nine protected characteristics and our culture of being inherently inclusive.

Mental Health First Aid (Accredited Course)

This course is not available for open booking as spaces are very limited. We are making a number of places available to each District and to members of the Merseyside Emergency Team. The course will lead to us building a team of accredited Mental Health First Aiders across the County.

Transgender and Sexual Orientation

This course is available for any adult volunteer to register to attend and seeks to develop how adult volunteers can support members potentially opening up about transgender or their sexual orientation.

ADHD Support

This course is available for any adult volunteer to register to attend and seeks to raise awareness of supporting young people with ADHD.

Disability within the Programme

This course is available for any adult volunteer to register to attend and seeks to raise awareness of supporting young people with specific disabilities to ensure that our programmes are accessible to as many young people as possible.

Challenging Behaviour

This course is available for any adult volunteer to register to attend and seeks to raise awareness of supporting young people with specific behavioural needs.

Mental Health Champion

This course is available for any adult volunteer to register to attend and seeks to raise awareness of supporting young people with developing their Mental Health.
