Following a period of nomination and selection, we are delighted to be writing to you, to notify you of a number of key appointments.

We hope to be able to announce the appointment of a Digital Comms and Media Co-Ordinator over the coming weeks.
You'll also be aware that we have been building our Leadership Teams for both Unit 47 (wholly Merseyside) and Unit 49 (50% Merseyside) for the 24th World Scout Jamboree, taking place in 2019. In addition to this, we have also begun building our Patrol to Roverway in 2018. We are delighted to announce our Unit Leadership Teams and Patrol Leader to Roverway...Unit 47

Also, as we build our #Scouting4All team, we are delighted to have begun making appointments of Chairs of each of the Working Groups...

At our County Conference and AGM on 28th September, we will also be seeking approval from the County Scout Council for the nomination of a new County Secretary and Vice Chair; to be appointed alongside existing Officers...

Please join me in welcoming everyone to these roles and in thanking them for taking on this additional responsibility across our team.

It's been a busy summer and we have been delighted with the level of interest from existing and new members, in each of these roles. My sincere thanks to everyone who has engaged in the process. Together, we are building a larger and stronger leadership and support team that will firmly have as it's focus our 8000+ young people, 2000+ regular adult volunteer and 1000+ occasional helpers; across our 11 Districts and 143 Scout Groups. 

Our Digital Comms team will be profiling all of our new appointees over the coming weeks and months, so please keep an eye on your inboxes for more info.

Finally, if you're interested in getting more involved in leading and supporting; then please keep an eye out for more opportunities over the coming months.
