Over 10,000 people visited Hoylake in West Wirral District today for the annual Life Boat Day.

They were treated to a full Red Arrows Display as well as many side shows and a display from the Royal Air force Sea King helicopter.

For the second year running Scouting was on full display thanks to the associations Mobile Display Unit. Members of the public were able to take part in games, try out the bouldering wall and take home information about Scouting in the area.
