Merseyside Scouts enjoy many local facilities for adventurous and exciting activities and are fortunate to have the challenges of local waters, North Wales, the Lakes and the Peak District close at hand for wider opportunities.

On the 26th July 2007, 36 young people from Merseyside will start the experience of a lifetime at the World Jamboree. To keep you up to date with everything they do we have included the latest entry from the Jamboree Blog Below.

Well I'm sorry to say that this will be the last blog entry from the 2007 Jamboree Unit. We hope you have enjoyed reading about us and the adventure we took part in this Summer. One final event to talk about for us was our Re-union camp at this years Mersey Moot at Tawd Vale last week. It was great to meet up with everyone again, its over a month since we returned from the Jamboree but friendships built over those 10 days will last a lifetime. Although the Jamboree is now behind us there are still a few things the Unit will be doing together right up until Sweden in 2011, so keep out an eye for us, and if you spot one of us Shout "Jambo" and see what happens! See you in Sweden in 2011!
