Some points to note...

  • We seem to lose most of our members between the age of 9 and 10 years - this is also a National trend at the moment;

  • If each District could increase their membership by just 15 Cub Scouts, we would see the County membership turn around... we would be growing Cub Scouting;

  • If each Group could increase their membership by just 2 Cub Scouts - we would increase our membership by just over 350 members.

The Challenge

For each Pack in the County to try and increase their membership by one or two Cub Scouts each year over the next three years. In 2016, we will be celebrating the 100th birthday of Cub Scouts - we need to make sure that Merseyside is stronger than ever.

Let's do all we can to provide better Cub Scouting for more young people!
