Cathedral Explorer Packs

Liverpool Cathedral launch their new child friendly explorer pack for under 10s from Saturday 26 May.

They are available for hire from the Cathedral shop during normal opening times. There is no cost but children must be accompanied by an adult. The packs are designed to enable children to explore the Cathedral in an interactive and dynamic way.

This is also an excellent activity for uniformed organisations to use in their badge work: for example the Beaver Scout Explorer Activity Badge and as one part of the new Adventure Activity badge.

Narnia Fun Day Report

Coming soon all the news from Narnia. 3000 children attended the Narnia event at Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday, 30th October for a fun filled few hours of activities, including many Beavers from around Merseyside. If your Colony attended email ACC BS with your report on the day’s adventure.

Beaver Scouts are girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 8. They meet together in a Colony. The current Children Act 1989 states that no child under eight years of age is allowed to move up to a Cub Scout Pack.

West Wirral Wobble Board Record Attempt

Registration fee is £3.00 per person which covers the wobble board and each entrant will be issued with a certificate.

Wobble boards need to be painted and this can be undertaken during section nights as part of the summer programme.

1000 hopefully will take part in order to smash the existing record of 359. Come and join in! It's FUN.
